Site Acceptance test (SAT) in Equipment Qualification


-The site acceptance test (SAT) is most important part of the equipment qualification now a day.

-A test conducted at the site of use to verify that the system, equipment or utility, as assembled or partially assembled meets expected specifications.

-The site acceptance test (SAT) is the supplementary test to the factory acceptance test (FAT).

-Site acceptance Test is performed before the installation of the equipment. 

-The SAT is executed on completion of all commissioning activity of the equipment but prior to the performance of Installation Qualification. 

-Site acceptance test document is prepared by the client it self

-Site acceptance test is performed for both quality and safety aspects of the equipment

-Site acceptance test shall be including following check point:
    Visual Check
    Equipment is in intact condition or what.
    Other accessories
    Any software working properly or not
    Documents (Drawing, manual) are proper or not.
