Qualitative analysis and Quantitative analysis :

Qualitative and quantitative analysis both are the important term in Pharmaceutical industry and the research 

Qualitative Analysis :

Definition:

·        Qualitative analysis mean the identification of any compound into the mixture.It  provide the information about the phenomenon and principle which can be observed

Example:

·        There is one mixture which is under analysis to identify the compound A and B are present into that mixture is the qualitative analysis.

·        Hypothesis and the interpretation is the base of the qualitative analysis. Its is explain by the theory and principle.

·        Open ended question method is used. Data are collected through the observation.

Quantitative analysis:

Definition: 

·        Quantitative analysis means the measurement of total amount of compound into the mixture. . It provide the information about the number which van be measured

·        It can be measure into the number or digit.

Example:

·        There is one mixture which is under analysis to measure the how much amount the compound A and B is into the mixture is the quantitative analysis. There is 95% percentage of compound A and 1.2 % of compound B it is known as the quantitative Analysis. 

·        Statistical data is base of the quantitative analysis. It is explained by the graph and numbers .

·        Closed ended question method is useful.  Data are collected from the measuring thing
