• Angioplasty is the technique in which vascular surgeon widen the narrow artery.

• In angioplasty doctor done small puncture or a small incision.And surgeon insert a thin tube balloon catheter using X-ray guidance.

• Balloon catheter passed in to the narrow location  and balloon is inflated for short period of time.
  
• balloon is inflated, compressing the plaque against the artery wall.

• once plaque has been compressed and the artery has been sufficiently opened, the balloon catheter will be deflated and removed.
  

• x-rays will be taken to determine how much the blood flow has improved.
